About HICS
Alumni-led angel investing in Spain since 2017.
The Harvard Investment Club of Spain (HICS) is an educational and networking forum for Harvard alumni interested in researching and investing in early-stage companies on an individual basis.
Originally founded as the Harvard Angels Club of Spain in 2017, the club grew to 58 members, reviewed over 260 startups, hosted 15 pitch events, and facilitated approximately €1.1 million in investments across 14 companies.
Relaunched in 2025 with AI-powered deal screening, renewed leadership, and a focus on the new wave of entrepreneurship driven by artificial intelligence.
